Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre scored a hat-trick to help Al-Ittihad beat Al-Ahly 6-2 in a Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League clash on Thursday night.
It was the centre-back’s second hat-trick for the Jeddah-based club this season.
Plumptre scored Al Ittihad’s second, fourth and fifth goals of the game.
It would be recalled that the 25-year-old scored a hat-trick for Al Ittihad on matchday one against Eastern Flames FC in October.
She has now scored six goals in six league outings for her club this season.
Plumptre is also a joint-top scorer in the league with Tanzania’s Clara Luvanga, who plays for Al Nassr.
